A Little Weekend Before and After

Just thought I would share some of my yard work with you all on this wonderful Saturday. After 5 bags of mulch and lots of weed pulling, I'm pleased to say that my flower bed went from this:

To this:

So much better! Now the next project will be to work on the flower bed on the opposite side of my stairs which currently looks like this:

Ugh. And I need to get rid of this ginormous weed that has gone out of control on the side of the house:

Anyone have any ideas for the other flower bed?? I think it needs some kind of border to separate it from the grass.
